Commissioner Kyle Becker
About Commissioner Kyle Becker
I was born and raised right here in Central Florida, and grew up in Altamonte Springs. As a youth I was active in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, as well as played in the band and basketball. Upon graduation from Lake Brantley High School, I attended Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee on an athletic scholarship. At Tusculum, I played basketball for the NCAA Division II program, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
After graduation, I have spent the majority of my professional career in the Banking and Financial Technology industries, in a number of senior level analyst, consultant, and director level positions in IT and Operations. I am currently Vice President of Product Operations, Capital & Insights for the largest Financial Technology (FinTech) company in the world. Additionally, I serve as a Board Director for the Lake Apopka Natural Gas District, and as Vice Chairman of the Board for Quest, Inc. a regional non-profit serving those with developmental disabilities, an organization that has a great presence here in Apopka, as well as Orlando and Tampa.
Outside of my role as Commissioner and work duties, I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family. My wife Kelly and I have been married since 2007, and we moved to Apopka around that time. We are proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters, Madelyn (11) who attends Wolf Lake Middle, Emily (8) and Lucy (6) who attend Wolf Lake Elementary.
